Just a couple of days ago a friend and I were on the phone, talking about a situation that my family is going through, very heavy and energy consuming. She just kept saying, God your people are hurting and we don't understand, why are so many of your people going through and hurting like this, it turned into a very heavy whaling coming out of her spirit, behind this situation, I felt her pain, because its also my pain. I started to think, yes God what is going on, why are so many of your people going through? I don't consider myself anything like the Israelites who worshiped other gods and murmured and complained about any and everything. Well now, I know I do complain when things don't go my way, and I have worshiped other gods so to speak, for instance, making men and relationships more important, than the relationship i have with God. We can make our own problems and then we want to cry out to God why, lawd why me, when all we had to do was seek the Kingdom of God first (Matt 6:33), and remember that obedience is so much better than sacrifice, we could prevent putting OURSELVES in bad situations to begin with. Right now, I am letting something that is important to me, wear me out and its my own fault, had I obeyed the will of God in the first place, followed his commandments, maybe my situation would be better. As for my family situation, I will leave that up to God, he is faithful and I know his word is true, what he did back in the days of the Bible, he is able to do for me and mine today, even better. God is an awesome God, we just need to listen and obey, and follow His will for our lives. I'm not saying we won't go through, but man, if we could just stop, putting ourselves in these situations to make ourselves go through.
